CreACTive Youth Center acts as a service for young people in supporting their creativity and initiative. We provide space and give our young members who have an interest in drama and theater arts a chance to organize drama workshop as well an opportunity to perform in various projects.
This workshop includes interested young people who have talent and want to show the public what they’ve worked on. CreACTive allows them to perform at various projects and events which they themselves operate. The MCT creACTive team in Skopje motivates young people to fully participate in the preparation of various dramatic stage performances, which prompts them to work and develop their capacities and increase their experiences. Through our drama workshop, youth can apply your skills whatever they may be as a screenwriter, director, actor etc.
So far, this workshop has accomplished quite bit; performing at quite a few events, such as the day of volunteerism, Europe Day, and the Day against Racism. At the moment, participants of Drama are included in the project: “creACTive and Young People against Drugs” because they decided to work on a dramatic representation on the subject – drugs.
This workshop, like others, is assisted by the EVS volunteers from Europe. They help local volunteers and participants in organizing and implementing the project. The Peace Corps volunteer also assists in the preparation of the event.
CreACTive makes every effort to guide the youth of Kavadarci through an unforgettable experience and assist in their development by creating a program in which young people have the lead.
