Hi! I’m Arthur. I’m 21 years old and I come from Le Quesnoy, a little town in Northern France (You don’t know where that is? It’s also close to Lille. If you still don’t know, use Google Maps 
).
I studied Management and Marketing for hotel and restaurants, which it’s really interesting if you like to work in a stressful place. So that’s why I stopped after I obtained my BTS . After that, I had a few jobs in the course of one year. In the end, I was sick of it, so I wanted to do something new and exciting what’s better than traveling to a foreign country that you don’t know and meet new people?
I heard about EVS, which was a nice opportunity to realize what I wanted to do.
Why did I choose Macedonia? In fact, first I explained what I wanted to do during my project, which was to work with young people. My sending organization gave me the choice to do it in Macedonia at a Youth Center called creACTive. Because I didn’t know anything about this country, (and also about the Balkans in general), it was really interesting for me.
And for my hobbies; I like music in general: to listen and also to play. Right now, I’m actually in a Ukulele (Hawaiian small guitar) period, but I play some guitar and drums as well. Also, I like to walk in the wild like a tramp, watch movies and read books with a cup of tea like a grandpa.
